KIDNAPPED!!
About a year ago my oldest daughter was the victim of an attempted kidnapping. She was going outside to walk our new puppy when somebody saw her and told her to get into his car. What they didn't know was that Daddy was behind her and they couldn't see him. Ariel screamed "DADDY!!!!!!!!" and they drove off.
I'm so thankful to God for what could have but didn't happen.
I personally see a spiritual parallel here. Satan is the attempted kidnapper, Ariel is the Christian and Bruce is God. There are times in our lives when satan sees an opportunity to tempt us, to have us fall away from God (thus "kidnapping" us from the Kingdom). A time he thinks that we are alone and that God is not near.
But all we have to do is like Ariel, call out "DADDY!!!!" and God is right there to help us and rescue us, IF we will call out.
God is there, God is always there. Ariel didn't know her daddy was behind her, but she called him anyways.
Just call out He'll be there.
